The views of the beach and the Holy Isle from all windows is lovely. Saw the odd red squirrel and seal. Amazing log burner, comfy bed and powerful shower - great after a long walk. Lindsay is lovely and very helpful. A perfect little bolthole for a couple.

we had a really enjoyable stay in lamlash close enough to walking trails, water sports, the holy isle and shops and pubs. we had separate bedroom with comfortable bed. it was a pleasure to meet lindsay, the host, everything was perfect. location was peaceful, around 10-15 minutes walk from standing stone.

The location of the cottage is perfect, with stunning views of the beach and the Holy Isle from all windows. Being vegetarians and vegans, we appreciated the proximity to the shoreline, where we could easily paddleboard and enjoy the sea. the cottage itself is well-equipped and cozy, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Lindsay and Charlie, the hosts, were exceptional, providing us with valuable advice on activities like paddleboarding, climbing. it was a beautiful and peaceful property that we would definitely return to.

The apartment was amazing, with a cozy bedroom and a lovely bathroom. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to cook our own meals. The flat-screen TV was a nice touch for relaxation, and the comfy bed linen added to the cozy feel. Plus, the river views from the patio were breathtaking!

Personally, I found the towels a bit rough, but that's just my opinion. Others may still enjoy them.

The decoration in this cozy little cottage was absolutely charming. The furniture had a classic elegance, and the walls were adorned with lovely paintings and tasteful decor. The common areas were thoughtfully decorated and created a warm and inviting atmosphere. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the easy accessibility of the accommodation. There were no stairs to navigate, and everything was conveniently located on the ground floor, making it very comfortable and convenient for me.

The only thing I would have asked for to make the vacation even better for senior people like myself is the inclusion of a grab bar in the shower. It would have provided an extra sense of safety and stability, especially for those of us who may require a little extra support.
